How to photograph a child's drawing for a 3D figurine
A good preview starts with a clear photo, not an expensive camera. A phone and a window are usually enough.
Use window light
Place the drawing on a flat surface near a window. Avoid yellow evening light, hard shadows, and lamp glare.
Keep the camera level
Fill most of the frame while keeping the paper edges parallel to the screen. Avoid heavy digital zoom.
One hero per photo
If the page has several characters, crop or photograph the chosen one separately. Keep hands, feet, and key details visible.
